Executive Vice President and Co-Founder of VIDITalk Corporation As Executive Vice President and Co-Founder of VIDITalk Corporation, Dr. Hayes developed the core global business alliances and partnerships. VIDITalk provides integrated video publishing solutions for enterprise, education, government, and consumer markets and was selected by the US Army as the asynchronous video streaming software used on the world’s largest intranet AKO. Dr Hayes is also co-founder and Managing Partner of ShellBond LLC, an environmentally green company, which holds several patents on a process to convert calcium based bone waste material, or marine shell waste into a product that is a bone based calcium hydrate with specific unique polymorph hydrate properties used for oil spill clean- up, waste water treatment, environmentally safe anti-oxidizing paint, and construction industry applications. Dr Hayes is a classically trained Satellite Oceanographer, holding several positions within the Federal Government where he led the US Department of Commerce, National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration Oceanographic programs and the US Navy’s Spectral Ocean Wave Model development. Dr Hayes has proven leadership in educational content delivery, process leadership, International business development, strategic business partnerships/alliances, Knowledge Management, marketing and sales. Of particular note, in Public Service, Dr Hayes was the First Executive Director of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Program; where he was instrumental in creating the process to recognize world-class quality in American products and services, establishing the baseline criteria for quality in US corporations. He was also called upon by the President and the Secretary of Commerce to direct a nationwide Reagan Presidential initiative EXPORT NOW, to stimulate and grow US Exports. In the private sector, Dr Hayes has held several founding and senior positions in commercial corporations including: Global Scientific, Inc., Net2000 Communications, Retrieval Technologies Inc., and as Director of Global Business Development for American International Group (AIG). Dr Hayes has taught at Rutgers University, New York University, City College of New York, and Georgetown University. Dr. Hayes holds BS, MS and Ph.D. degrees from New York University, School of Engineering and Science and is a member of the NYU Science Advisory Board and Chairman of the Government Affairs Committee.
