This resource is an online lesson that helps students gain a better understanding about the Renaissance and the Reformation and how they are connected to change in today’s society. Teachers are expected to provide students with background knowledge about the time periods. Students then conduct research in order to be able to complete a series of tasks including a flow chart, a biography, and an action plan that connects to current day issues facing the Obama administration. The activities support the development of technology, research, writing, and presentation skills. The webquest could be used as is or adapted to meet the demands of a particular class or time limitation.
